PKR Attorneys Jordan Kahn and Nathaniel Rickard have published an article in the most recent volume of the George Mason Journal of International Commercial Law entitled “Commerce Must Adopt A Central Role in Addressing Circumvention of All Types.” This article describes the alarming uptick in circumvention of antidumping and countervailing duty laws, as well as the respective roles of Commerce and Customs in combating this pressing concern. It features accomplishments by PKR attorneys to have Commerce take action in response to circumvention of the antidumping duty orders on shrimp and tissue paper from China, and have those agency actions affirmed by the Court of International Trade.
