About Us

Founded in 2009, Picard Kentz & Rowe is a boutique law firm that specializes in international trade and policy matters. Our team leverages a deep understanding of these complex cases drawn from a collective background as senior litigators at major firms in the United States.

We consider our small size to be one of our biggest advantages. Unlike larger counterparts, we’re driven by close client relationships and an extremely collaborative team environment. We’re proud to deliver creative solutions that often extend past traditional legal work into adjacent territories like policy and advocacy.

From small family businesses to mid-sized privately-held companies to publicly-traded corporations, our clients are decidedly diverse. We represent U.S. industries towards the goal of a fair market and level playing field. We also serve as general counsel to non-profit organizations. Thanks to a fee structure built on trust and flexibility, our services are accessible to organizations of all sizes.

As a firm, we’ve worked hard to develop a culture of integrity, diversity, approachability, and genuine interest in the cases we take on. Our team of skilled professionals is passionate about making a difference for clients, which means unpacking the complexity of the law in addition to providing high-quality legal guidance.

A Proven Record of Success

Our firm represents U.S. industries and workers in antidumping and countervailing duty cases.  While a small firm, we tackle the biggest cases. For example, in fiscal year 2020, the cases PKR prosecuted accounted for 63% of the total import value of products subject to antidumping and countervailing duty orders, and 57.6% of all such duties deposited by importers of these products.

Our Commitment to Giving Back

As lawyers, we believe it is our obligation to give back to the community and to serve not only our clients, but also the public. From its founding, we have worked on various issues that advance the public interest. Our work includes projects related to:

  • Defending voting rights and other civil rights in the United States;
  • War crimes prevention and post conflict transitional justice; and
  • Combatting forced labor and child labor.
